Location: Greensboro NC
Guy M Turner Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to plan, manage, and execute industrial projects involving heavy machinery and equipment. This role requires applying engineering principles in real-world field conditions and owning projects from planning through execution.
This is not a desk-only role. The position requires hands-on planning, problem-solving, coordination with field crews, and direct involvement in project execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and execute industrial projects from start to finish
- Develop scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
- Coordinate equipment, labor, and subcontractors
- Apply engineering skills to solve mechanical, structural, and logistical challenges
- Work directly with field crews during execution
- Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, safety, and cost objectives
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a heavy STEM-related field
- Experience in engineering and/or project-based environments
- Strong mechanical, problem-solving, and planning skills
- Comfortable working in both office and field settings
Note: Prior experience in our industry is not required. Industry-specific training will be provided.
